Eric M. Lohmeier, CFA
President / Managing Director
Mr. Lohmeier is a co-founder of NCP, Inc., originally established as a joint venture with Wachovia Financial in 2001. Mr. Lohmeier oversees all divisions of the firm. From 1996 through 2000, Mr. Lohmeier was employed by a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Securities / Wachovia Securities Institutional Capital Markets Division in their Chicago office as a senior equity research analyst specializing in financial and real estate securities. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Mr. Lohmeier holds an MBA (finance specialization) from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English (minor) from Simpson College. Mr. Lohmeier was awarded a CFA charter from the CFA Institute in the fall of 2000 and is a Past-President of the CFA Society of Iowa’s Board of Directors (2011 & 2012). He has served on the Board of Directors for the Des Moines Rotary Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa & Atlas Seminars. Mr. Lohmeier frequently lectures for both graduate and under-graduate business classes for the University of Iowa, Iowa State University and Simpson College on topics ranging from real estate finance to investment banking.
Mr. Peterson has been with NCP since 2007. He co-manages the firm’s Corporate Finance and Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions divisions, and assists in firm strategy. Mr. Peterson is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business with a major in Finance and brings almost a decade of experience in the financial industry. Mr. Peterson was awarded a CFA charter from the CFA Institute in the fall of 2012 and is a current board member of the CFA Society of Iowa. He serves on the Des Moines Rotary Club A.M.’s Board of Directors. He occasionally lectures for Drake University and the University of Iowa on a range of financial topics.
Mr. Eden focuses on developing new client relationships and maintaining a strong client base at NCP Inc and brings a vast knowledge of economic development, construction and real estate to NCP. His prior career includes 25 years in various business development and marketing roles, culminating as the Regional Business Development Director for Weitz, Co. Mr. Eden completed post-graduate work at the Institute for Organizational Management at the University of Colorado and received a BS degree from Truman State University. Mr. Eden’s community involvements include: Variety – the Children’s Charity (past president), the Iowa Association of Business and Industry (committee chair), the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute (graduate & curriculum chair), Iowa Architectural Foundation Board of Trustees (chairman) and countless other organizations.
Jenny Speck, CPA
Mrs. Speck joined NCP as an associate in August 2014. She obtained her Masters in Accounting from Drake University and earned her Certificate of Public Accounting in September 2009. She brings over a decade of experience in the financial industry from both public accounting and the non-for profit sector. Her prior career includes the role as a Finance Director for a local non-profit organization and a Tax Supervisor for McGladrey. Speck is actively involved with her local YMCA and participates in many of their fundraising activities.
Mr. Goetzinger joined NCP as an analyst in October 2015. He assists the firm's Corporate Finance and Investment Banking / Mergers & Acquisitions divisions. Prior to joining NCP, he worked as an analyst for a regional commercial bank. Mr. Goetzinger is a Cum Laude graduate of Central College with majors in Business Management and Accounting. He is currently a Level 3 Candidate in the CFA Program and is a member of the CFA Society of Iowa.
